About Dr. Bilal Khalid

His background

Dr. Bilal Khalid studied medicine at King Edward Medical University in Lahore, one of the oldest and most respected medical schools in Pakistan. He went on to specialize in pediatrics and earned his FCPS in Pediatrics from the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan.

Alongside his training at home, he completed additional pediatric training and certifications from the USA and the UK. That mix gives him a practical, up to date approach: he follows international guidelines but always fits the plan to what works for a family in Pakistan.

Hospital experience

Over the years Dr. Bilal has worked in both government and charity hospitals. At THQ Hospital Gujar Khan he handled inpatient and outpatient pediatric services and looked after sick newborns in the NICU. He has also served as a consultant pediatrician at AlKhidmat Raazi Hospital Islamabad, where the focus is quality care at an affordable fee.

This hospital work shaped the way he practices today. He knows how quickly a child can get unwell, and he knows how to tell when a child is fine to go home with the right advice.

How he works with parents

Dr. Bilal believes parents should leave the room understanding three things: what is going on, what to do at home, and when to come back. He takes time to examine properly, explains in plain language, and avoids unnecessary medicines and tests.

He is careful with antibiotics, open about what a treatment can and cannot do, and happy to answer the questions you forgot to ask last time.
